SCAD March Pick Up and Spring Quarter Storage

Are you planning on studying abroad? Or maybe just not going to be in Savannah next quarter? Need a place to store your things while you're away?

We are offering a special pick up in March, following your checkout from your residence hall and as part of our Post-Pickup procedures. Campus Carriers will pick up your items directly from your residence hall, store them, and deliver them back when you return to campus or to an off-campus apartment or house in Savannah.

Time is running out to schedule your March pick up so act now and enjoy the convenience of full-service moving and storage.

How does it work?

  1. Simply start by reserving your space with Campus Carriers as normal at http://www.CampusCarriers.com/reserve.

  2. IMPORTANT: Campus Carriers will NOT be providing boxes or tape as part of this special program in March. If you choose to store boxes, you must include them in your Reservation, but you must procure your own boxes for packing your belongings. Another suitable option would be to select Plastic Bins when placing your Reservation and procuring them from popular retailers.

    Suitable boxes include:
    Large Boxes from Lowes Home Improvement
    Large Boxes from Home Depot
    20"x20"x20" Boxes from Fedex

    Generally, all boxes should be suitable for moving and stacking and should be as close as possible to the 24"x 18 " x 16" dimension/4 cu. ft.

    Plastic bins from Amazon.com, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, and Target that are suitable for moving and stacking and do not exceed 25 Gallons or 40 Gallons, depending on the option you choose when placing your Reservation, are permitted.
  3. THE BELOW ACTION IS REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR MARCH PICK UP AND STORAGE OF YOUR BELONGINGS.

    Once you have completed a reservation, YOU MUST ENTER your Expected Checkout Date from one of the March options in the My Account section when logged in at http://www.campuscarriers.com/my-account. Note that this is only the day you personally expect to checkout of your residence hall. Campus Carriers will pickup your belongings only after you checkout with the assistance of SCADHome Staff.

  4. IMPORTANT: Additional fees will apply based on when you'd like your stored belongings delivered. The price you pay when placing your Reservation now will include pickup in March and storage through the Spring Quarter, until the beginning of Summer Quarter. Storage of your belongings can be extended beyond the Spring Quarter but will incur an additional fee of $299/Quarter of Extended Storage.

Final Steps After Placing a Reservation:

  • Login to your My Account section to complete the Next Steps listed within: https://www.campuscarriers.com/my-account

  • Print your own labels. These labels are specific to you and your Reservation and must be adhered to each item on your Reservation. Note that label sleeves referenced in our Instructions for Labeling Your Items will not be provided during this special March pickup period. Instead, we recommend using packing tape to affix your labels to your items.
  • Review our Packing Tips and Instructions, as well as our Instructions for Labeling Your Items. Again, please be aware of the above point regarding label materials and label sleeves not being provided during this March pickup period.
  • Just before checking out of your residence hall, and only once all your belongings are packed and labeled accordingly, you must complete your Final Inventory Check.
