Over the summer, you will be notified via email when it is time to log into your account at CampusCarriers.com to provide important Delivery Information. This information will include your new residence hall building, room number, or off-campus delivery address if you plan to move off-campus.
Typically, you can expect this notification the first week of August, when most students should have their new housing assignments finalized. If you are still awaiting your housing assignment when you receive this notification, you can wait to update your Delivery Information until your new housing assignment is received.
Early Delivery
At times, special interest groups, such as Residence Advisors, athletes, club members, etc., are permitted to move into on-campus housing earlier than normal, for which earlier delivery dates are typically made available at our discretion.
If you want your belongings delivered earlier than our Standard Delivery period, please see our article, Scheduling an Early/Custom Delivery.
Standard Delivery
Our Standard Delivery period occurs the week before the Fall Semester/Quarter of each school year or earlier when Delivery before you move in (also known as Pre-Delivery) is arranged.
Moving to On-Campus Housing
We can often coordinate with the university and campus staff and, at times, off-campus communities to deliver belongings before students arrive to their on-campus residences. In these instances, there isn't a need to choose a Delivery Date and Time, which makes this arrangement one of the most convenient benefits of our program. To learn more, please see our article, Delivery before you move in (also known as Pre-Delivery).
Moving to Off-Campus Housing
Those moving to off-campus housing generally need to choose a specific Delivery Date and Time. Campus Carriers sets these dates and times based on location, and you can select a time that works best for you when entering your Delivery Information through your account at CampusCarriers.com when the option is made available (generally the first week of August).
Other Delivery Times
Deliveries outside our Standard Delivery period, not a part of a larger coordination of deliveries for other students, typically incur an additional fee. This fee is necessary to cover the cost of a one-off delivery, such as trucks, equipment, and labor for conducting a single delivery. For more information related to this, please see our article Scheduling an Early/Custom Delivery.
